1> It plays like a console port. It looks like a console port. No pausing, only save points, stupid repetitive voicework, limited controls.

2> It's insanely short. There are four sections of the game. We've gone through three of them so far. Each one took one hour.

3> The game play is totally linear. I don't see any replayibility at all.

4> For all the game there is, it's over priced at $50.

5> The designs are limited. There's roughly four different zombies: Basic man, basic woman, military man, policeman.

Conclusion: Save your money.

I must be missing something, because there's two of us playing it together, and I'm just frustrated to the point that it's not fun. I don't like the forced co-op (being forced into situations where the only way out is rescue by a team member) and the computer controlled players either run in front of me when I'm shooting, or shoot everything before I get a chance to fire. And every time we have to replay a level, it's exactly the same, with the only variation being the look of the zombies that swarm us. The hordes show up in the same places, there's always the same amount of them, and the computer controlled players repeatedly do stupid things.

I am obviously more easily amused.

Not necessarily. I tend to set very high standards for movies and video games. Especially ones that are heavily hyped.

Watchmen I liked. Left 4 Dead ... not so much.
