It's like greatest hits night here tonight.

So tonight is my last ever shift at the hotel. I'll stop in once or twice over the next few days to help out with a few lose ends, but tonight is it for shift work on the front desk. And it's like a clip show:

I got yelled at by 603 because his keys didn't work

I had to turn someone away because all they had was cash and no credit card

The stupid server scraped a nice swath of skin off my arm when it fell while I was cleaning it

And Giant Fluffy Orange Kitty showed up in the parking lot! I haven't seen him in years!

I have mixed emotions, too. I'm glad it's finally over, but a little sad, too. It's was oddly painful when I uninstalled my remote software from the computers here.

I've also promised myself that after I move, I'm making time to be creative again. Whether it be more writing, performing, photography or even painting, it's something I need to do once more. I've been having so much fun with my camera lately that I hope I can even set up a little darkroom, or maybe get a decent digital camera and a really good printer. I spent some time in the local graveyard taking night time photos, and I can't wait to see how they look once they're developed.

And I've decided to keep my beard growing, simply so I can dress up like Vulcan the Hawkman for Halloween.
