Jinx came home from the vet Thursday evening, and promptly threw up-
the milk he was in the process of drinking and a long ropey glob of hair. He FINALLY used his litter box Friday evening. It was the first time in a month! We were very excited, thinking that maybe he was finally getting better from his mystery ailment.

But by Friday night, he still hadn't eaten any of his food, even though I'd given him tuna juice on top of it- he'd licked up the tuna juice, but no food. Andy mixed some Friskies canned food in with the Hill's special food the vet gave us, and Jinx really ate it up. He then jumped off his counter, and threw up all over the floor. His vomit was far more voluminous than the amount of food he'd just eaten, and was an odd mustardy color. Saturday morning, Andy gave him about a forkful of food, and Jinx threw up after eating half of it. So, back to the vet he went. She showed me the x-rays she did with a barium trace, and also the x-ray that shows the pellat that's been lodged in his neck for who knows how long, but she's just as stymied as I am. He's going on a liquid diet now in hopes of keeping that down, and she is possibly going to try out her new ultrasound machine on him. But surgery is getting more likely all the time.
