outsdrDad called me at work tonight. He wants me to fly home either for Christmas, or shortly after that, so I can visit with mom at home once last time before she goes to a nursing home. She's still in the hospital; she gets re-evaluated Wednesday, but he expects her to be in there for another 2 weeks after that.
