Heroes

My friend lent me the first season of Heroes to watch. I made it through the first episode and about 30 seconds of the second before shutting it off.

This is a popular show? I don't get it.  At best, it annoyed me. At its worst, it angered me. But mostly, it bored me.

Spike or some such channel has been re-airing the whole series I guess and I caught part of an episode here and there and I couldn´t even keep it on until a commercial. I changed the channel after about 1 scene.
What is it? Is it some type of sci-fi soap-opera? It just didnt grab me. I thought it was supposed to be something great because so many people claim to be huge fans of this Newst Greatest Sci-Fi/Fantasy tv show.
WTF. You are not alone in not getting this.

Man I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't "get" this show; because it certainly seemed like I was!
