I'm reading this story:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20464264/
about the idea of raising a baby without using diapers, and some of it sounds like an interesting concept... and then I get to the end of the story:
"Isis Arnesen, 33, of Boston, has a 14-week-old daughter, Lucia, who is diaper-free. She said it can be awkward to explain the process to people, such as when she helped Lucia relieve herself in a sink at a public restroom.
“Sometimes I don’t know what’s gonna happen and it doesn’t work, and sometimes I feel a little embarrassed,” Arnesen said. “It makes her happy though, right? She smiles, she’s happy.” "
Nice. Thanks lady. Because it's so important that your daughter is happy after she just pissed in a sink where people have to wash their hands. And I just bet it's "awkward to explain the process" to people who are waiting in line to wash up in your kid's potty.
It's a child, not a "I can now do what ever I want!" card.
