Hand jobs, etc.

outsdr1- The right hand continues to heal nicely, although the incision has split along the top somewhat. As ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
asia_sky said when I showed it to her,"That's going to leave a scar!" I was standing shirtless in the kitchen at the time, and glanced down at my scar-covered torso and arms, and replied, "Oh yeah- like THAT"S going to matter."
I'm trying not to use the wrist brace as much, so I can getuse to using the hand again. It's fine for typing, although it tires quickly, but handwriting is still a pain, literally, making my wrist throb deep inside and my hand cramp. Using a mouse, unfortunately, puts pressure directly on the site of the incision, which hurts. Still, it's nice to wake up without my hand being numb.
2- Four days remain in my experiment to wear my glasses for an entire month so that i will adjust to them. And yes, I have adjusted to them, AS MUCH AS I THINK IS POSSIBLE. They're just simply crap, and I hate them. I'm tired of the nausea, the headaches, and not being able to SEE properly. I paid nearly $650 for them, I believe, and regret every penny. I'm working on a visual to try to show what it's like to wear them.
3- Ike has been concerning me for the past few days. He's full of energy, limps as badly as ever, and seems to be having panic attacks, reacting as if there is a thunderstorm going on, shaking and panting and being fussy. I don't know what's wrong, but if it continues, he's going to the vet for a check up.
