I am writing to you in hopes of drawing attention to one of the biggest problems facing the state of Wyoming today. Its impact on residents is unmistakable, and will have long-term effects on our state's economic development, quality of life, and moral responsibility.
I'm talking about winter weather. Sure, it starts out small, hitting our town with just a few inches, maybe a small flurry. But year after year, we see it increase as time progresses, adding up, layer after layer, until our streets are frozen with fear and families are no longer safe to leave their houses at night.
Snow fall has been linked to increases in depression, increased auto fatalities, looser morals, and drug and alcohol usage. Snow causes lower test scores in our school children, and causes hardships and lower birthrates for Elk herds. Winter weather breaks apart marriages, and leads to child abuse. Snow fall will bring homelessness to our community, destroy our laws, and will rape our children. If you love your pets, you will act out against snow fall in our community.
I am calling on our city Council members to address this problem today. Not tomorrow, not next year, not during elections- NOW!!! Our future is at stake. We can no longer ignore the effects this is having on our community. With the resources our town has, not to mention the state, there is no excuse for not throwing money at this problem until it goes away. Committees must be formed, and studies must be done, the sooner the better, so a solution can be had.
If our elected City officials refuse to act, we MUST take this higher, every step of the way, until someone addresses this despicable scourge on our community! State senators, Congressmen (AND Congresswoman!) If need be, we should be prepared to take this all the way to the Supreme Court! The current Supreme Judges are our best possibility for finally overturning the despicable 1973 ruling on Snoe vs. Rane. God is on our side to stop this unnatural occurrence!
Please join me with your support on this issue. Your mother wants you to. All red-blooded patriotic god-fearing citizens of this great United States of America must step up and make their voices heard! The time is today… soon it will be too late! We must act now, for the sake of our children and the future generations!
