Jan. 18th, 2009 04:00 amI'm trying to snack more healthily.
Right now, I'm eating some roasted pumpkin seeds. I really like pumpkin seeds, great taste, nice and crunchy, but they're full of fiber of the tree bark kind, and I end up with a mass of seed hulls in my mouth that just won't chew down any further, and I don't know whether to spit or swallow.
Shut up.
I'm also eating some sunflowers seeds. Not as tasty, but a lot less effort than pumpkin seeds. But the nutritional information.... serving size, 1 ounce. Calories per serving: 170. Calories from fat are OMGHOLYCOW 150!?!
I'd be better off eating sticks of butter!
