Eugene Delgaudio has made a mistake
Apr. 12th, 2011 12:08 pmBigoted, homophobic hatemonger Eugene Delgaudio has made a mistake.
He sends out regular emails begging for money from like-minded people that think evil "radical homosexuals" are hiding in every shadow, waiting to burst forth and eat straight, married people. Here's an excerpt from his latest:
Dear Tim,
The thought of it sickens the soul.
Practicing Homosexuals skipping hand in hand down to adoption agencies to demand a boy for themselves.
But that’s the sick reality on the verge of being forced upon religious adoption agencies by the supposedly “conservative” Virginia administration of Governor Bob McDonnell.
According to Virginia Delegate Bob Marshall.
“If the proposed regulations are approved, private, church-run agencies would be required to process adoption applications from same-sex couples and would be prohibited from considering the couple’s sexual orientation as a reason to refuse placement of a child in their home.”
Now, normally he'll include a link to add your name to a letter of protest or sign a petition to ban gay people. This time, however...
Please call Governor McDonnell at 804-371-6351.

The link goes to the Virgina governor's website contact page, where you can email anything you want to the governor. So I did:
Thank you for realizing that homophobia has no place in today's society, and supporting adoption for gay couples- loving families come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. I'm sure you'll be inundated with emails claiming that you will allow "Practicing Homosexuals skipping hand in hand down to adoption agencies to demand a boy for themselves." I admire that you are a man able to recognize this disturbing bigoted homophobia for what it is, and are a big enough person to do the right thing. Thank you.
So, Eugene Delgaudio, I'm sorry that I won't "prayerfully" send you any money, and I'm sorry that I didn't send the email you wanted ... but I'm not sorry that I'm standing up for the progress of human society.
