I looked around my desk/workspace, which seems to be full of more work than space. Amongst other things, I have:

A pair of headphones.

2GBs of DDR2 RAM. Antiacids.

Dental floss.

Handful of thumbdrives.

Pens.

A bumpersticker that says "Turn off FOX news."

Medication.

Mail waiting to be opened.

Hankerchiefs.

A flashlight.

Tools.

Q-tips

Eye drops.

Hand lotion.

A measuring tape.

A phone.

Receipts.

Various screwdrivers.

A bottle cap.

Condoms.

Dental floss.


I'm ready for anything!

lamp, clock, unopened mail, ink (many bottles), address book, unused but pretty set of notebooks in box, pot of pens and stuff, calculator, randomly discarded jewellery, unsorted till receipts, notebooks for work and for shopping/to do lists, catalogues, tissues, phone sock, empty laptop sleeve, half-finished bag of sweets, pewter ornament of castle which I love insanely (see, I hope, userpic), Asda voucher booklet, a few books - some work, some play, and my laptop. Not much room for work.

Thank you! I have a quite child-like longing for it to be real so that I could live in it. Though I would, of course, also have to have 8 hench Bithynian litter-bearers to get me up to it along that winding precipitous path! And there would need to be elevators inside, too ... Nonetheless, I ache at its beauty.
