Doctor Who: The Big Bang
Jul. 7th, 2010 08:54 pmI've been meaning to mention this for awhile, but one of the things I really liked about TBB?
For once, the Doctor marries off one of his companions ... and then they keep traveling with him, instead of getting left behind!
I bet Leela is a little pissed. But not as much as Sarah Jane will be if she ever finds out he was feeding her a line of bull with the "Humans aren't allowed on Gallifrey" line.

I'm sure the Doctor wasn't making it up when he said aliens aren't allowed, but it's also true that he wasn't too fussed about it with Jamie, Zoe, Leela or Nyssa. I've said for a long time that the Doctor turned Sarah Jane off the TARDIS because he thought he'd try leaving them before they left him for once, and if he didn't like it he wouldn't do it again; and hasn't done it again. Not really, despite atempting it in Doomsday and having it forced on him by circumstance in Journey's End. The ones he leaves first are always the ones he loves best: Susan, Sarah Jane, Rose, Donna.
