Hmm. This isn't as easy as doing a crochet pattern. I found it less difficult to cope with than the continual return of the daleks, but that doesn't mean I'm able to do it on any sort of diagram, flow-chart, mind-map, whatever. I'll work on it. In the meantime, I think, just go with the flow, like Wagner, and accept that the Moff seems to be a clever geezer where timeywimey stuff is concerned.
How's your back? (And, go on, ask me about my insect bite, you know you want to!)
In a discussion over on Jon Blum's journal, the conclusion has been pretty much reached that the video I watched must have been defective, because there are many scenes described that I don't remember.
My back cleared up after a few days, luckily. It was a real pain in the ass, about 6 inches up. :)
So, what's this I hear about you getting an insect bite?
So glad your back's better and that you didn't have to shell out to a quack!
Well, now you ask ;) I got this insect bite on the top of my left foot sometime last week, which caused my whole foot to swell up so that I couldn't get my shoe on. Uncomfortable, but also unsightly. I have a very strong opinion that ailments should be Keatsian - one should always look pale and drawn, rather than red and puffy. In addition I have always prided myself on my slim ankles and shapely feet. Oh, my dear, the shame of it! Seriously, though, since m job involves a lot of standing up and talking to people, and we are having a massive heatwave, it hasn't been much fun. Though the stupor induced by taking masses of Piriton has had the advantage of making some of the nasty noises go away!!
Look forward to hearing your view of DW when you have had the chance to watch the full episode. Can you get BBCiPlayer?
I watched a different video last night, and indeed the one I saw was deeply flawed ... from just after the credits to right about where the Doctor wakes up in the TARDIS, the original video skipped through like a fast-forwarded DVD, but with sound. Now, it actually makes sense (mostly) and I know longer feel like I'm missing something that everyone else gets.
Sorry about your foot. No dance lessons for you for awhile!
