Tuesday morning at work, I sneezed. And something tore in my back, right where I had the surgery two+ years ago. I not only felt it, but I heard it too, in a way. It felt/made a sound like tearing the drumstick off of a Thanksgiving turkey; a sort of meaty, greasy schlurp/pop. The pain was exquisite.

It's been slowly improving since then, but every time I sneeze or suppress a sneeze, it pulls again. While it hurts less each time this happens, it still hurts.

Just to really make this fun - it's allergy season. :(

Try wrapping it. The parttime job I had in retail for ten months during the fifteen months I didn't have fulltime work was much more tolerable when I figured out to wear one of those back-support belt things you see them wear at Wal-Mart.

But try seeing a doctor too.

Wrapping it is a good suggestion, thanks. And if it isn't much better by Monday or Tuesday, I'm going to have it checked out. I just hate spending the $150 on a doctor's visit just to hear, "Yep, you pulled something!"
