I think I've just been ditched...

So, I was supposed to go on a date tonight with a local man who seemed very interested; we exchanged photos and set the date up weeks ago. Yesterday, he sent me an email asking if I was in town yet, and we sent emails back and forth; he said he was very excited. This morning he wrote again to let me know how excited he was, and how much he was looking forward to this.

He just arrived, walked in, and told me he's "sick with strep throat" and has been for three weeks, but he just wanted to stop by to let me know. I said thanks and he left.













I guess I don't look the same in person or something. Oh well.
