A bunch of my ph@t l00t arrived today:

From amazon.com:

Electronic, "Electronic". The rest of the CD is great, but I ordered it for the ONE song that is NOT on the greatest hits cd, and therefore, not available on iTunes: track 3, "Tighten Up". Best song ever of the band.

Future Retro: I bought it for track 8, Alphaville, "Forever Young" (Hamel Album Mix). Lots of other great tracks on there too.

From A Different Drum www.adifferentdrum.com

Alavarez Presents: Zeitmaschine Remixed. Got it for the Alphaville "Forever Young" mix. At least, I think it's a mix. Lots of other (hopefully good) tracks on there as well.

Syrian, "Alien Nation". I've heard good things about this CD, but I bought it because track one, "Supernova", features Marian Gold (Of Alphaville) on vocals.

True Faith: a tribute to New Order

Atlantic Popes covers "Ceremony" here. It's the only released song of Atlantic Popes that I was missing. Atlantic Popes is made up by Max Holler and Bernhard Lloyd. Bernhard Lloyd used to be with Alphaville (which makes his role sound much more minimal than it was.) Check out Atlantic Popes on iTunes; they're awesome.

From bestprices.com I got an Alphaville collection CD. I have all the songs on the disk, but I don't have this compilation. Sad, I know, but I'm a completist, and Alphaville has been my favorite band since I was 14.

That's a long time.

Apparently, I got one of the last ones, cause now they're out of stock.

This is also the site I ordered three John Barrowman cds from.

Finally, from a site called Global Hobo (www.hobocomics.com) (I keep wanting to type in Global Homo, lol) I ordered two comic books:

Applicants:

See what no one was supposed to see again: pictures of hopeful students, accompanied by unflattering behind-doors quotes from their professors and employers. Jesse Reklaw distills the essence of a bygone era from a dumpstered stash of confidential biology applicant files circa 1965-1975. Funny in so many ways, plus kind of sad and thoughtful too. New printing with square binding and two-color cover!

I saw a write-up of this on /. and it sounded interesting, and it was cheap, so I ordered it. Actually, I bought two, one for a friend as well.

I also got this one:

Black Sheep #2
Part two of Fredos suburban gothic nightmare, Neighborhood of the Beast, finds Ivan stinking like a goat, busting ass at work, and watching his sultry but skanky neighbor kick her boyfriend out. God, you hope this isnt a romantic interest, but then you know it has to be... that no matter how good things seem to be going, everything is sliding slowly into the quicksand pit. Also includes two tales of childhood trauma (about John Lennons death and a penis enlarger) , and an intense character dissection of Uncle Zulli, AKA, Da Ballz. Two-color, wraparound silkscreen cover.
#2: 36 PAGES, HANDMADE, $4.00

I got it not knowing anything about it, but, um, I think sheep are cool. So there. I also bought a second one for the same friend.

The company actually wrote to me and asked me if I really meant to order two of each of them, which I thought was nice of them to do.

More ph@t l00t coming soon!!!!
