Went on a date. It went well.

ETA: And the rest of my post disapperas. WTF. Added it back.

We're in his truck, as he drives me home. "I'm glad the night went so well," he said. "Was it everything you expected?"

"Hell," I replied, "It was WAY BETTER than I expected."

A firework shot skyward from the side of the road, trailing red sparks behind before exploding in a shower of light that we drove under.

"Ok, that was corny," I said.

The day I finished drawing Lucky's Zombie Apocolypse, the editor contacted the writer and myself to let us know it had been pulled from the book, because it just didn't fit in with the rest of the stories. He initially intended for it to add a little humor to a dark book, but after seeing nearly all the pages, realized that the humor was too far over the top.

Maybe it was the seen where the zombie baby's head gets punched off. Who knows?

Anyway, I like a lot of what I did on my pages; I put a lot of hard work and effort and pain into those panels. So, just to show the results a little, here is the first page of the strip. The rest is going to be published at some point in the futre; to be hoest, I'd love to see an entire book of nothing but Lucky the plucky leprechaun.
