Got home yesterday a bit after 4 p.m., and immediately fell asleep. I figured I'd sleep a few hours to get the allergy medication out of my system ... so of course I slept for 14 hours. I did get up a number of times to let Ike outside.
I had a fantastic Dr. Who dream. The 10th Doctor, Rose, and Mickey were on a pastoral planet, and discovered a colony of classic Cybermen. The Cybermen had crashed landed there years ago, but were damaged and acted more human than mechanical. The Doctor helped them with a few things in their colony, and Mickey discovered that it had been built on top of an older city, when he discovered a set of stairs that ended at a blank wall.
Hiding in the older city was a group of humans, fearful of the Cybermen. The Doctor persuaded them to come to the surface and meet the Cybermen, hoping they would work together, but the humans instead attacked the Cybermen. The fighting ended when Mickey accidentally activated the humans original starship, wich they had forgotten about for some reason, and the humans agreed to leave the planet to the Cybermen and make their way to a different planet.
