So, asia_sky traveled from Baltimore to the wilds of Wyoming, making the drive in just four days. I haven't seen her since a friend's wedding in August 2001; before that I hadn't seen her since leaving my college town behind in 1995. She got a job here for the summer, and I offered her the spare room to stay in during her days off. The evil cat loves her; Ike the dog has a new best friend (he's such a bed-hopping slut), and I'm enjoying having her around.

But the coolest part? Last night I heard her in her room watching the DVDs I had loaned her when she got here- the first season of Torchwood.

Sometimes the best part about really loving a series is sharing it with someone.
