what was happening in the world that men freely dressed like this when into a Heavy Metal/Hard Rock sound. And now, these days, I could not imagine guys getting away with this and not getting beat up or totally trashed whether the music was good or not.
I mean zebra/herringbone spandex pants, 2 cans of Aquanet on the rider for the band, as much mascara as Tammy Faye.
The only thing that still comes close is some old-school American Pro Wrestlers.
Guy's were the main base for fans for these bands and the girls were usually groupies or at least though this style was sexy.
This truly was the forward evolution of the Glam style, but what happened, what did it evolve into now?

on more thing.... just freaky funny to listen to heavy metal with a japanese accent... really makes me want to giggle.
But they totally have the American style down pat.
