Nancy Drew

I grew up reading Hardy Boys, Danny Dunn, Trixie Belden, and Nancy Drew. I've recently started collecting a number of these books, and a friend of mine sent me a free giveaway from Walden Books, dated 1986.


I guess they were trying to update Nancy's look ...



But Nancy looks a little ... ok, a lot like she's doing softcore porn. And since when was Nancy just for girls?



The back cover isn't much better. I guess this is "Action Nancy," but she looks like a badly posed mannequin with her dead eyes and oddly positioned limbs. But hey- "you'll be hungry for more!"
