So, a few days back, MC Murph asked me for my mailing address, because he had something to send me. Thursday, I arrive home and there is a HUGE package sitting on my doorstep. I open it to find ...



The WORD sign! See, way back when, Tamara, Murph and I did this interactive spoken-word performance thing in Albuquerque. We did it for a few years, and then they moved to Houston or Austin or somewhere in Texas, and I went on to do a weekly solo show at Insomnia Coffee House. But at the WORD performances, we had this sign that we would light up during the show. It glowed bright red and was awesome. I left it in it's cocoon of bubble wrap, because it's going into storage until I have somewhere proper to display this delightful nugget from my past.

Thanks Murph! Made my day, it did.

WOW! How cool is that! WOWWYY ZOWWY!!! Yes - you are a good custodian of the WORD sign. Last year at Target a bought an "on air" sign because it reminded me of the WORD sign.
