A song that would never be written today

MacArthur Park

"
MacArthur Park is melting in the dark
All the sweet, green icing flowing down
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!"

Considering the prevalence of the internet today and how a quick Google search would most likely turn up this recipe in seconds, the source of angst has been eliminated, so I doubt that this song would be written today.

This, and others like it, is an example of a question that wakes me at night and keeps me from falling back to sleep.

Well, and also, who would want to write a song title describing Los Angeles' McArthur Park, where you're constantly tripping over crackheads and crack dealers.
