Weekly Update
I'm on a different schedule this week - working the hotel in the mornings on Sat and Sun instead of overnight, due to a coworker's time off. Then next weekend, I'm not working at all, because I'm going to Laramie to visit a relative that I haven't been to see the entire time I've lived in Wyoming.
So, quick update this week, probably none next week.
Lots going on right now, in my head, if nothing else. Got an award from the Wyoming Press Association for my columns (Second Place - Small Weeklies). Which makes me feel very nice, coming after the letter to the editor. They wrote a response to the supportive letter I received. Some how, the letter was lost before it ran and they declined to resubmit it. Essentially, it was one sentence that said their idea of the community that the Journal should represent was obviously different than the author of the supportive letter.
No shit. I don't think I'd want to live in that community.
Really not much else going on. Did a few computer repairs, made a little extra cash, trying to pound out some plans for relocating. Still haven't set a definitive date.
Watched the finale of Fringe last night. It mostly wrapped up all the lose ends. Overall, not a bad end to a series.
