outsdr | Tradition, re-phrased

A few weeks ago, I wrote this:

"Tradition" is just a convenient label to apply to practice that is repeated in a timely way in perpetuity no matter how stupid or meaningless it may be.

I meant to write it this way, but it garbled due to the late-nightedness:

Tradition is nothing more than an excuse to repeat stupid behavior on a regular basis.
